With a relevant decision of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI), published on Thursday 14 July 2022, the initial scheme of the eMT cluster, with ena Development Consultants as Supporting Entity and a total project budget of 2,472,036.50 euros for the participating companies, was approved for funding.

The eMT cluster is the first Innovation & Technology cluster in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace. With the approval decision, the members of the eMT cluster will implement new development initiatives to enhance entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the region.
The aim of the eMT cluster is to develop a technological ecosystem in the region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, which will accelerate and at the same time reduce the cost of adaptation of businesses to digital transformation and a high-level hub of technological excellence - a benchmark of innovation at pan-European level, which will actively contribute to the development of new technologies, the attraction of scientists and the growth of the GDP of the region and the country.
The application fields of the eMT cluster are Agri-Food, Manufacturing & Industry, Human Resources and Tourism & Smart Cities.
