
The eMT cluster approval decision
With a relevant decision of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI), published on Thursday 14 July 2022, the initial scheme of the eMT cluster, with ena Development Consultants as Supporting Entity and a total project budget of 2,472,036.50 euros for the participating companies, was approved for funding.
The members that make up the eMT cluster and will receive funding under the call 'COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION FORMATIONS'/2nd Call: Enterprises' in the Operational Programme 'Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020' include TEN-06.GR among many technology, research and academic partners.
The eMT cluster is the first Innovation & Technology cluster in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace. With the approval decision, the members of the eMT cluster will implement new development initiatives to enhance entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the region.
The aim of the eMT cluster is to develop a technological ecosystem in the region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, which will accelerate and reduce the cost of enterprise adaptation to digital transformation and build a pan-European benchmark of innovation.
The application fields of the eMT cluster are Agri-Food, Manufacturing & Industry, Human Resources and Tourism & Smart Cities.
